The southern side of the Tsurugi mountain ranges is said to be a “Miraculous Lost World” with so much untouched nature, and the goal of the Minami-Tsurugi Regional Development Council is, in collaborating with local organizations and administrations, to preserve the rich nature of Minami-Tsurugi, and create even more attractive features as a source of tourism.
