Naga-cho, and mainly the Kito area, is a major production area of Yuzu (citrus fruit). The Kito Yuzu, which look like a large shining golden ball, is also registered by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries under the Geographical Indication (GI) protection system.
A variety of products such as yuzu vinegar, yuzu miso, juice, jam, seasonings, cakes, cookies, etc., are made using Kito Yuzu, which has a rich aroma and refreshing acidity.
