An autumn festival at the Hiwasa Hachiman Shrine, a shrine with a 700-year old history.
Each of the 8 districts all carry a taiko float called a “Chosa” from the shrine to Ohama beach and back carry it back to the shrine. Some of the floats also jump into the sea, and it is one of the best festival because of its passion and intensity.
