A historic tour of the stone monuments inscribed with nursery rhymes by the nursery rhyme writer Ujo Noguchi
  1. Uminosogo Cultural Center

    A public facility with a 500-seat music hall. There is a stone monument inscribed with a nursery rhyme to the left side of the main entrance.

  2. JR Mugi Station

    There is a stone monument at the station rotary.

  3. Mantokuji Temple

    It is said to be founded by Gyoki Bodhisattva during the Nara Period. There is a stone monument on the west side of the temple precincts.

  4. Boat to Tebajima Island at the Mugi Fishing Port Pier

    There is a stone monument by the entrance to the pier where the boats headed for Tebajima Island dock.

  5. Tebajima Island

    A populated island located 15 minutes by boat from Mugi Port. Currently, there are about 80 island residents, and the island town has a nostalgic Showa-era feel. There is a stone monument near the pier.

  6. Miyanomoto Community Center

    There is a stone monument on the right side of the Ebisu Shrine next to the community center.

  7. JR Mugi Station

    There is a stone monument at the station rotary.
