A ropeway that connects Michi No Eki Washi No Sato to Tairyuji temple in the mountain, 600 meters above sea level. With a total length of 2,775 m, it is the longest ropeway in western Japan, crossing rivers and mountains, and on a clear day, you can admire the faraway Wakayama on your way to Tairyuji temple.
The road to Tairyuji temple was one of the most perilous ones, but with the opening of this ropeway, many pilgrims can now easily visit the temple.
